About the Event

For the time being, this offering is exclusive to our MBSR students (old and current), as well as their family who would like to learn more about Mindfulness and Mindful Living.

Mindfulness is a state of being that arises when we intentionally pay attention to the present moment, without judgement. This practice allows us to gain more awareness of our body sensations, as well as our emotions and our thought processes, enabling us to identify and break certain patterns, as well as the "automatic pilot". 

It is a meditative practice that encourages a heightened awareness of the present moment to increase attentiveness, disrupt negative thought processes and find greater peace and happiness. 

Our quite place in the Alentejo offers Mindfulness & Yoga retreats, providing a holistic approach to mental and physical well-being. 

Set in a stunning location near Santiago do Cacém, our guests have the opportunity to ‘switch off’ from the demands of daily living to focus completely on mind-body well being. 

We combine meditation with other mindful activities, such as mindful movement sessions and nature walks, healthy eating to restore your inner-balance and return home feeling more capable of dealing with life’s challenges.

Programme outline - From Friday, the 03rd of September (17h) to Sunday, the 05th of September (17h)


❖ Sunset reception and welcome drinks 

❖ Short Group Meditation (arriving and setting the intention) 

❖ Light healthy vegetarian dinner and group gathering (Q & A) 

Saturday: (during the most part of this day we will invite you to be rest in awareness while practicing "Silence") 

❖ Morning Yoga Sun Salutation and Meditation Practice 

❖ Breakfast together 

❖ Mindful walking around the farm, exploring and connecting to nature, in curiosity and freedom

❖ Healthy vegetarian lunch followed by "Power nap" and free time (you may book individual 20 min interview/sessions with the facilitator if you wish) 

❖ Mindful Movement and Yoga Class 

❖ Mindfulness Sitting Meditation 

❖ Sun set Contemplation 

❖ Healthy vegetarian dinner, followed by star gazing (if the weather allows)


❖ Morning Yoga Sun Salutation and Meditation Practice 

❖ Breakfast together 

❖ Mindful walking together 

❖ Open Awareness Meditation 

❖ Healthy vegetarian lunch followed by free time 

❖ Collective activity  

❖ Metta meditation and group gathering in circle for closing moment

This approach to life helps us to access quality space to make more adequate decisions and improve our competencies to deal with the challenges in our lives, both at home and at work.
